Comment: From the perspective of a beginner in using multicultural literature: An interesting purpose for reading multicultural literature. Might begin by reading reviews of multicultural literature. And then read selected novels for their literary merit—as well as the views of the characters toward the world. And I am going to have to take a course or courses in multicultural literature. Whew!
